How Great Companies Get Their CUSTOMERS TO EVANGELIZE FOR THEM
Thursday, February 3rd, 2011
“Strategy? Got one. Tactics? Check. But there’s one more key element without which you won’t get anywhere: Motivation.   [Chip Conley's book] PEAK will show you how to create motivated employees, customers, and investors, and it tells the story of how one spectacular entrepreneur does it by treating people right . . . and how they return the favor."
Chris Anderson, editor-in-chief, Wired magazine and author, The Long Tail and Free
Join the Wharton Club for an evening with Chip Conley, Executive Chairman and founder of Joie de Vivre where he will share insights on how to transform business via three key relationships in business with Employees, Customers, and Investors.  He will illustrate the motivations for each group and how to create peak experiences, which help a company build enduring and profitable businesses.

Chip will tell the story of Joie de Vivre’s remarkable success and introduce the strategies and tools from his book PEAK: How Great Companies Get Their Mojo From Maslow – already a bestseller in the US.  He will tell the story of Joie de Vivre’s remarkable success and share other real world examples of companies that have applied these lessons, from Apple to Whole Foods Market.

During this event Chip Conley will share key management techniques and provide you with the tools you need to:
  1. Create customer evangelists by identifying and meeting customers’ unrecognized needs.
  2. Develop investor "pride of ownership" by identifying and working with investors’ true motivations.
  3. Create a sense of "meaning” at work for your employees.
