Amalia Paliobeis WG16, SMD of Real Estate at Common

Amalia is the Senior Managing Director of Real Estate at Common, the industry’s most progressive real estate operations platform serving the needs of the modern renter.  She brings 10+ years of traditional real estate experience to lead Common’s real estate team, helping owners and investors achieve above-market returns on their assets from a trusted and well-known management brand.  Since joining the organization over two years ago, Amalia has led Common’s transformation from a co-living company to the fastest growing residential brand in the US, including a 20,000 unit development pipeline across 22 global cities.  Amalia sits on the executive team and works directly with founder and CEO Brad Hargreaves to scale Common’s institutional management practice.  Previously, Amalia worked at Regent Properties, a LA-based investor/developer with over $1 billion in assets under management, focusing on acquisitions, fundraising, finance and portfolio management.  Before Regent, Amalia worked at Barclays Capital, conducting financial analysis and investment reporting, and in Deloitte’s Merger and Acquisition Transaction Services group, where she performed due diligence for real estate transactions ranging from $100 million to $15 billion.  Amalia earned an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a BS from the University of Southern California and she is an active member of the USC Lusk Board.  She currently lives in Los Angeles with her husband and two children.
