Join us on Sunday March 29th for WCNC NIght at SAP Arena with the San Jose Sharks! This is the Club's 2nd year hosting with the Sharks and we are excited once again to partner with our friends from the HBS and Kellogg clubs to offer our members this unique opportunity.

Beginning at 5:45 pm, join your fellow Wharton, HBS, and Kellogg alums for an evening of fun activities including:
  • Q&A with Sharks President Jonathan Becher
  • Pre-game meal including 2 drink tickets
  • Visit from Sharks mascot Sharkie who will stop by our plaza area to brighten everyone's day and to deliver a few Sharkie goodies
  • The opportunity to take pictures on the ice after the game
  • Watching the Sharks take on the Arizona Coyotes from the comfort of our own plaza area

5:45 pm: Reception with Sharks President Jonathan Becher* in the FJ room.

6:30 pm: Buffet-style dinner will be provided in the Penthouse Plaza and served until the end of the 1st intermission. Two drink tickets will be provided to each guest to redeem at the Plaza Bar.

7:00 pm: Puck Drop! Watch the Sharks vs. Arizona Coyotes from our Penthouse Plaza.

Tickets will be held at Will Call under your last name.

Cost: $135 per adult for current WCNC members; $115 per child. Members only for this event.

Members may purchase up to one (1) additional ticket for an accompanied adult at the member rate. Members may also purchase up to two (2) additional tickets for their children, who must be accompanied by a parent. Note: these children's tickets are not transferable to an adult - they are intended only for Club members who would like to bring their children with them to the game. There will be a maximum of 15 children’s tickets offered for sale. All of our tickets will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis. All ticket sales are final and there are No Refunds. *Jonathan Becher is entering his second full season as president of Sharks Sports & Entertainment. While sharing overall leadership with John Tortora, Becher is responsible for the organization’s areas of sales, marketing and revenue. A long-time Sharks fan and season ticket holder, Becher also oversees the organization’s fan engagement strategies.
   
Prior to joining Sharks Sports & Entertainment, Becher spent a decade at SAP in at SAP in a variety of senior roles, including Chief Marketing Officer and Chief Digital Officer. While CMO, he oversaw many of SAP's large-scale sports and entertainment partnerships, including the naming rights agreement for the SAP Center at San Jose. Becher has also crafted corporate partnerships with the San Francisco 49ers, the National Hockey League (NHL), and the National Basketball Association (NBA), among others.  

A three-time CEO, Becher is a frequent speaker at technology industry events, and is a regularly published author on a variety of topics, including the popular blog Manage By Walking Around. His management philosophy centers on aligning execution with strategy and respecting the impact of culture on business.

Becher was named by Forbes Magazine as one of the world’s most influential CMOs, most social CMO in The Huffington Post, and a top CxO on Twitter by Social Media Marketing Magazine.  He is the Board Chair for the Churchill Club, Silicon Valley’s premier business and technology forum, and is the sole independent Board Member of both Trintech, the leading cloud-based financial Record to Report (R2R) solutions, and Pixlee, the leading visual platform for user-generated content.  He is also an adviser to several early-stage companies.
   
Becher holds a master’s degree in computer science from Duke University in North Carolina, and a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering from the University of Virginia.
