Guy R. Powell
Author of three books on marketing measurement, Guy R. Powell holds a BSEE degree in Electrical Engineering from Lehigh University, an MBA in International Business from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and was an exchange student at the School of Management, University of St. Gallen, Switzerland.

Joe Burns
Director of Marketing Data & Analytics at AFLAC, Joe Burns helps drive sales by providing analysis and insights to improve marketing efforts. Among the strategies that Burns uses include audience segmentation for AFLAC’s data management platform, attribution models and analysis, conversion optimization, and testing. He has implemented and rolled out a framework for campaign analysis and return on investment, and an agent-based model (ABM) for media spend optimization. He also performs quarterly updates on the model and provides guidance to brand and media stakeholders for adjustments to budgets within channels, including changes in messaging and creatives.

Burns earned a BSEE degree in Electrical Engineering at University of Mississippi, an MBA in Business at Millsaps College, a Certificate of Statistics at University of Tennessee–Knoxville, and studies in Computer Science at University of West Florida.
