Venture Initiation Program (VIP) San Francisco
 Deadline: Thursday, August 3, 2017

The Wharton Venture Initiation Program (VIP-SF) Fall/Winter 2017 cycle online application is open and you may begin preparing your VIP application. The deadline to submit the online application is Thursday, August 3 at 11:59 PM Pacific Time. Applications must be submitted via online application only (applications submitted via email not accepted).  Late applications not accepted.

Eligibility
The team lead must be a currently enrolled Penn student in a degree-granting program or an alumnus/alumna who is developing his/her own venture and who meets the application criteria. The team must be based in the San Francisco/Bay Area during their time in VIP-SF. This program is exclusively for ventures that already have validated product-market fit, measurable traction, and have assembled all necessary expertise on the team. It is not intended for ventures that are not yet able to measure success or who are missing critical talent. The application process for VIP-SF is competitive.  Applicants must have knowledge of business fundamentals to participate, as this knowledge will be assumed for VIP-SF members. To be ready for VIP-SF we highly recommend that applicants obtain this knowledge through academic coursework (e.g., you have completed MGMT231/MGMT806: Venture Implementation, or the Wharton Entrepreneurship Specialization on Coursera).
