WINE TASTING AND BUSINESS LEADERSHIP RECEPTION

Join Haas, UCLA Anderson, Harvard, Stanford, and Wharton business school alumni for wine tasting with wine industry expert and entrepreneur Michaela Rodeno. Learn how Rodeno built two major wine startups - Domaine Chandon and St. Supery - from inception to financial success and helped to power Napa Valley's reputation as the premier winemaking region and tourist destination. She has also authored the book From Bubbles to Boardrooms.

Thanks to Michaela Rodeno (Haas '80) for generously donating the evening's wine and Linda Havard (UCLA Anderson '95) for contributing the event space located at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe in the Embarcadero.

About the Speaker

Michaela Rodeno is a business leader, entrepreneur, corporate director, consultant, grape grower, wife, and mother. Her successful 40-year career in the wine industry encompasses two major startups, Domaine Chandon and St. Supery. Twenty-one years as a CEO made her a role model for aspiring young people, especially women, who want to excel. She studied for a year in Bordeaux, speaks fluent French, and holds an MA in French Literature from U.C. Davis, and an MBA from Berkeley/Haas. She and her attorney husband live on their 25-acre vineyard in Napa Valley, where they produce fewer than 175 cases annually of highly regarded Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon under their Villa Ragazzi label.
