WCNC members only: $50 per person, max of 2 tickets per WCNC member.
Space for this event is limited, and tickets go on sale on Friday, July 13th at 11:00am. For the first 24 hours -- until 11:00am Saturday, July 14th -- this event will be open only to 3-year WCNC members and a single accompanied guest. If space is still available after 11:00am on Saturday, remaining tickets will be available starting then to all current WCNC members and their guests, max of two tickets per WCNC member. Registration closes at 4pm on July 23th. Note that we do expect this event to sell out -- if you would like to attend, we recommend purchasing tickets as early as possible.

If your WCNC membership is currently a one-year membership, you have the option of extending the membership now with one of the three-year membership options. Extending your membership prior to its expiration date adds the new membership term on top of the old one--i.e., it works just the way you'd expect it to. You'll receive the full additional membership term on top of the time remaining in your current membership, and this will allow you to purchase tickets for this special gourmet wine and food event (assuming tickets are still available.) Note that >40% of WCNC members take advantage of the three-year membership discount--we appreciate that since it makes things easier for the Club, and giving preferential registration at events like this is one way for us to say "thank you!"

Janet Sheehan, Winery Chef, Pine Ridge Vineyards

For more than twenty years, Pine Ridge Vineyards’ Chef Janet Sheehan has focused on creating culinary magic for friends, family and guests around a table.

Born in San Jose, California, Chef Janet Sheehan has fond memories of being raised at the family table. Her interest in food and the culinary arts inspired her to pursue a degree in Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management from the City College of San Francisco. Upon completing her education, Janet fulfilled her culinary internship at the critically acclaimed restaurant, Quince, followed by the position of Pastry Chef at 231 Ellsworth. While San Francisco provided an impressive array of opportunities, Janet was inspired to move to the Napa Valley to pursue her love of food and wine. She has been with Pine Ridge Vineyards since 2006, leading the wineries’ extensive food and wine focused culinary programming.

Janet reflects on her love of cooking by saying, “In today’s busy world where people rarely have time to sit down to eat, I am thrilled to be able to provide meals where people can gather around the table, relax and enjoy a delicious meal together.  I am very dedicated to procuring ingredients from local, organic artisan purveyors whenever possible, and always aim to highlight the relationship between the land, the table and the wine whenever possible.”

Janet lives in the Napa Valley with her husband and two young children. In addition to cooking delicious meals, she enjoys camping, hiking and gardening with her family whenever possible.

About Pine Ridge Vineyards
Established in 1978, Pine Ridge Vineyards produces classically proportioned, expressive wines that embody their history and distinct place of origin.

Pine Ridge founder Gary Andrus, inspired by the illustrious wines of Bordeaux, believed in the Napa Valley’s potential to produce wines of similar stature. He planted the property’s original namesake vineyard on a steeply terraced hillside flanked by a dramatic ridgeline of pine trees in the Stags Leap District. Gary’s pioneering efforts with this first vineyard were met with tremendous success as the Bordeaux varietals he planted – Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Malbec, Petit Verdot – thrived and produced wines of great distinction. In the following years, Pine Ridge continued to acquire exceptional vineyard sites across the region. Today, the Estate’s 200-acres span over five renowned Napa Valley appellations – Stags Leap District, Rutherford, Oakville, Carneros and Howell Mountain.
