Leadership Series – Growing Powerful Leaders and Teams (Part 2/2)
Thursday, May 17, 2012

In this event, Jocelyn will discuss approaches, opportunities and challenges to grow powerful leaders and teams. You will receive a complimentary personalized report of “Colors 24”, which is a personality instrument that Jocelyn uses to grow individual leaders and teams. All attendees will receive a link to an online tool a few days before the event that has to be completed (10-15 minute effort).

We will use this tool to dive deeper in these questions:
  • What type of leader are you?
  • How to build an executive team that leverages your strengths
  • Understanding your organizations’ personality profile
True Colors 24™
True Colors 24™ is a simple, easy-to-apply personality assessment that helps individuals and teams leverage their strengths and make constructive use of differences. Each color identifies a set of natural preferences for taking in information and behaving in the world.  They cover areas such as information gathering, decision-making and communication habits as well as personal attitudes, values, and natural abilities.

CEOs and executives use this tool to define leadership roles that capitalize on their natural talents.  The 4 types of leaders that emerge from this model are:
  • Green: Visionary
  • Gold: Operator
  • Orange: Charismatic
  • Blue: Harmonizer
Teamwork is enhanced when members use colors as a common language to understand how to best collaborate for results.  The 4 Colors provide strengths to the team in different ways:
  • Green: Purpose and Strategy
  • Gold: Operational Planning and Execution
  • Orange: Risk Taking and Driving Change
  • Blue: Culture and Relationships
Attendees of this session will receive a personalized Colors report with this information.  Discussion will center around effective use of the tool in building great leaders and teams.
