The B2B Market for . . . Chocolate!

Join us on April 22nd for the best kind of and enjoy a really Happy Hour at Chocolate Covered for a members-only discussion of B2B -- Bean-to-Bar -- chocolates where we will, of course, sample a wide variety of B2B chocolates!

Over the past few years, more and more high-end chocolate manufacturers have been introducing their own bean-to-bar chocolates -- they start with the cocoa bean and take it all the way to the finished product. (For a great explanation of the bean-to-bar process, click here.)

Join us after work on Thursday, April 22nd in the heart of Noe Valley along with your fellow Wharton alumni for a special Wharton Club members-only Bean-to-Bar chocolate tasting! Our host and the owner of Chocolate Covered, Jack Epstein will lay out for us an a wide variety of samples that will include:

  • High cocoa content
  • Single origins
  • Exotic spices
  • High quality milk chocolate
  • Micro roasteries

At the same time, we'll also have the opportunity to try virtually any other chocolate in the shop . . . and Chocolate Covered has by far the largest selection of chocolates from all over the world that you will find anywhere in San Francisco. (Talk about being a kid in a candy shop!) So if there's something that catches our eye on the shelves, we'll be doing some tasting and exploring there, too.

Jack Epstein
Currently the owner of the only Noe Valley chocolate shop, Jack Epstein puts a twist to the art of chocolate. He sells chocolate from around the globe and offers artistic and decorative ways to purchase them too – from family photographs or your favorite drawing customized to carry your sweets. He has tales to tell of numerous patrons that purchase chocolate on a daily basis, similar to how Europeans buy fresh bread. Chocolate Covered can accommodate the desire for daily treasures with a fun and lasting effect on the senses. Yelp advocates have roared -- check it out!
